Family Dispute Resolution and Mediation
We are not currently offering Mediation services (coming soon), however, we are conducting specialized, dignified, and professional Family Dispute Resolution
services for clients. Please see below.
Why choose Family Dispute Resolution
These processes can help parties avoid the hassle, cost, time consumption, and inconvenience of court. They are more informal and private than court and have a wider range of outcomes too. They can decrease hostility and improve communication between the parties. We also avoid the feeling of conflict inherent in courts, by creating a welcoming space to explore options.
What we do
We provide positive, compassionate, caring, child focused, and confidential services to help parties overcome their disputes and reach a mutually accepted result. These services are specifically around child and property matters.
Our work shows no bias, as we remain impartial finding a suitable outcome for those involved.
We seek to reach a mutually agreed and suitable outcome for the parties moving forward, and are also able to issue 60i certificates should they be required (or a 66h certificate if you are were never married and reside in Western Australia).
We can conduct our meetings face to face or online on the zoom platform. For a zoom session, the parties will need to have access to the free version of zoom and a camera. This can be on a computer, tablet, or phone, whichever works.

Pricing and timing
A one hour intake session for each party is required before a joint session can take place. If family dispute resolution is found to be inappropriate during the intakes, a section 60i or 66h certificate can be issued.
The costs for two parties to the joint session are $150 per hour ($75 per party where it is split) for online and $225 per hour ($112.50 per party where it is split) for face to face. The costs can be shared between parties or covered by just one. If there are more than two parties, the prices are shared similarly or the costs can be paid by just one party. If there are more than three parties and the session is conducted face to face, an additional $35 per hour is incurred, while online will be unaffected. A family dispute resolution session will usually take around two to three hours, and can be started after the intakes, where it is suitable.
Where a shuttle session is required (the parties cannot be in the same room), this will only be offered via online delivery.
Face to face sessions are conducted at 63 Eighth Avenue in Maylands, Perth, and online sessions are conducted all around Australia via zoom.
Please cancel the appointment with at least 48 hours to spare where you are unable to attend.
If the appointment is not cancelled within 48 hours, we keep 50% of the initial monetary outlay.
